141days or a few days shy of 5months clean

I am just a few days shy of being clean 5 months and the last few months have just flown by. Dont get me wrong I have good days and bad days still. I have been coping by going back to school and getting out of the house. I find myself slipping into depression when I have been home to many days in a row. I just wanted to update everyone on my progress I know many of you are just starting the battle to beat methadone and I am just here to tell you "YOU CAN DO IT" . I want to say thank you to all of you that have been here for me thru this process and continue to be here for me. THANK YOU!!!

hey jen, it is great to hear from you thanks for the update. congrats on your clean time.
keep working your recovery. that is awesome you are going to school, paralegal is a good job, pays well and yes you can work after only 2 yrs.
you have good and bad days. guess what me to and i didnt detox from meth. it is just life.
we have to take the good with the bad. learning to deal with them and how we handle it is the challenge. please check in once and a while. i hope you are still praying and seeking the LORD. how is your family?

COOL on the school my oldest daughter runs a leagle office and dose very weel for herself
you wont have a hard time finding work when your threw with school

hi Jenn good to see you post and im glad your winning the war people dont understand methadone has its own set of rules and anyone who kicks it will consider it one of the greatest accomplishments of there life.....your doing great come 6 mo you will even be better
but by now you at least know your going to heal and are well on the way .....they couldent pay me enough to put that stuff back into my body knowing how hard it was to come off it so a big congrats on your clean time im going on 2yr here pritty soon but when I see someone like you post it brings me right back to that place anyway keep up the good fight your doing great what you going to study at school ?? anyway have a great day your friend Mark
