2 Weeks today!

Hi everyone - I finally made it two weeks without screwing up. Instead of just stopping on my own, I've been to an addiction counselor - still trying to get to meetings though. I'm time poor though.

But thank you to everyone in here who helped me get to this point.

Of course, two weeks have felt like six months, but ill take it since I'm drug free!

Awesome! Here's to uno month and many more!  I too saw an addiction therapist and it helped me a great deal.

yes just move forward....rethinking everything will only make you feel bad...you are doing great, just stay positive.

Yeah - thinking about all the wasted time chasing pills - soooo much wasted time and money. I don't even want to think about how much I've spent. Going to leave that alone for now.

Time poor....Oh My Goodness, That is going to be my new phrase. I can so relate. With all the support your building there is no doubt you will succeed. Think of how much time we went chasing pills. Two weeks of detox is equal to six months in real time but just wait.......it just gets better and better.

Thanks!!! I hope to go to my first meeting soon. But between my psychologist and the addiction counselor, you guys and people I've told, I think I may make it this time.

Congrats....I feels good doesn't it?  I'm only 6 days ahead of you and let me
tell you .......you're in for a treat....it just gets better and better.  Time is relative......lol

Congrats on the 2 weeks!  That's a huge deal!  I know what you mean, sober time seems to slow down to a snails pace.  Seems like when I was high weeks flew by at a time now I count days lol. Keep up the good work!
