2 weeks off of Subutex!!!

Well tomorrow marks the 2 week anniversary of my last Subutex dose. I was never addicted to Subutex like I was the norco's(hydros), but when I stopped taking them, I had some major withdrawals.

I can say today that I feel really, really good. The only lingering symptom is the RLS.

I have to ask anyone who is fresh off of Subutex/Suboxone.
Do you feel wierd that you don't have to take a pill every day? I feel really wierd. I know I have some depression issues now. But I expected that. I can't describe the feeling, it is almost like I quit a bad habit, and can't figure out how to replace it.

also, thank you to everyone who helped me through the first week of hell with regards to the physical symptoms. I would not have made it without your support.

I have been right where you are at.  When I first got off of suboxone I felt like something was missing (no pills).  I took medication (norco)for years so all the sudden I did not have to take any thing.  I can only speak for myself, but I joined N/A, I needed the support and the 1 on 1 help to stay off of pills.  It was real lifestyle change for me.
I do still get a time when I want to pop a pill, so that's why I am here on the forum and still go to N/A.
I feel great now, but it was hard getting use to being off all medications.

Good Luck and CONGRATES,

I am glad to here you were doing so much better ,I was worried about you last week I know it was a rough time .Did you look into the sam-e it might help with the depression.
keep in touch . I know what you mean with the taking pills it took me along time to get out of the habit of taking pills it becomes such a habit all on its own .......the good thing is you are aware of it and it does lessen over time.
