Hey, I cried for 3 or 4 days, for no reason...the rls is awful. I thought I was gonna go crazy that first wk..could not sleep..but now I closing in on day 40 and feel great...eat healthy, take your vits, and lots of hot baths. I also drank lots of water and green tea. You WILL get better. The first wk is the worst...hang in there. Go for walks, talk it out. Stay around here...these good folks will talk you thru it...I could not have made it without them...stay strong...take it one day at a time, or one hr at a time....

It is normal to feel that way right now. It's the absolute truth when people say the physical part is the easy part the mental part is the real battle. Are you participating in any type of recovery care like meetings or counseling? Meetings really helped me in the beginning, they still do.I also took the 5 HTP for a bit and that helped me out a lot.Staying busy and throwing yourself into positive things like family and work helps.Exercise is extremely helpful.Talking about how you're feeling by posting here can bring comfort also.It lets you know you're not alone and it gives you hope talking to others who have been where you are but are now feeling much better.Congrats on day 7!!!!!!!! I hope you get some relief from this real soon.Keep posting.....Kim

Congrats on a week clean, woo hoo. I dont think it matters what we used, most of us suffered from those feelings too. I was so anxious and depressed at first i thought i would never feel normal again, but you are still so early off them and your body and mind are going through a lot of changes. It takes some time to heal, it can/t happen overnight so just hang tough and you will see all the good to come. Look in the health pgs at the aminos in there, they can really help. Force yourself to be positive, it can make a big difference by changing negative thoughts. Have you ever tried melatonin for sleep.

Stay strong, your doing great:)
