Congrats man! That's a huge achievement and the fact that you are still here speaks volumes about your character! I still love that comment you made a couple days back about feeling right back to your old self again. That's all any of us are looking for! and so that's when you know you've truly made it! Thanks for showing me that it's possible!

Thanks for the inspiration! Do you still have cravings after two years?
Hi Brian - Congratulations! You were here for me a little over a year ago (as were so many others) and you can't say it enough how much support you can get from here.

You've got a "dance" coming your way... ;)
Congrats! xoxoxoxo
(((Congrats)))
I cannot imagine having 2 years of sobriety.
What a feeling that must be!
You are an inspiration.
I first came here in January 1st of 2008 after I decided that my New Year's resolution was going to get off the evil pills. I lasted a couple months and stopped posting. That was a huge mistake. Even though I relapsed, if I would've stuck around, I'm sure I would be further along in my recovery. Learn from my mistake. Even if you relapse, do not quit posting and make sure you stick around. Nobody here will look down on you. Sometimes the simplest of words is all it takes to get that feeling of "I'm going to do this".
I know for a fact that I couldn't have done it without everyone here. No matter what time of day or night it is there is always someone here to listen. Only a fellow addict can understand what we are going through. They understand the highs and the lows that pertain to addiction. I know for a fact that I wouldn't be where I'm at today without everyone here. Because of this forum I am once again the father, husband, son, brother, and friend that I was meant to be. Everyone here will always have a special place in my heart. The support here is truly priceless.
For anyone just starting this journey, it is so worth it. I know how daunting the thought of withdrawals can be but that week or two of pain is worth every second of it. You know you can't use forever and the day will come to where you're going to have to take the plunge. The sooner you take that plunge the sooner you can live the life you were meant to live. Stick around the forum regardless of what happens. Nobody here will judge even if you slip up 20 times. Everyone here is so understanding because we have all been in your shoes. Even if you are currently using, eventually something will click.
Thank you all for the kind words. It's a great feeling knowing I have everyone here standing behind me. Know that I'm here for anyone that needs anything.
By the way Sara.....if you want to know what Army stands for, just ask!
hey great job!! I was there once and will be again. It is a very stable place to be. I really relate to your pragmatic view on addiction and behavior.Keep up the great work.Enjoy the day!
Hi Brian..
2 years - Wow..I'm not sure what else to say; I've read many a post of yours, and they are always written with heart, compassion and caring.
You are truly an asset to this forum - and I for one am glad to know you.
I love your words about Courage - they keep me going during my workouts. Being a Marine, I'm sure they've kept you going through much tougher stuff.
Congratulations; You have much to be proud of!
