This addicts got 30 days today.

Yeah! Finally. 30 days. Im very proud. The anxiety is much better. Life is returning to normal. I havent been this happy and content in along time. Im no fool theres hard work to still be done. Im down for that. Im so down for that. Im going to my home group tomorrow and getting that red tag. Quiting has been the single hardest thing Ive ever done but its doable. Everyone. EVERYONE can do it. Im restarting my clean days in my mind. So Ill be back on day one tomorrow. Its a mind trick for me. My addict mind starts to think its ok to use when I get over 30 days clean. Ive only been able to get over 30 once in 6 months. Ive been happy,sad,mad and all those feelings thiis past month. I got so mad one day it scared me. Im a very calm person. I knew it was the drug calling me. Wicked little things. That day went and the next was much better. Things arent perfect. The world is not perfect. Today Im totally ok with that. Oh. Im just a junkie. I have no pain. My heart bleeds for you all who suffer in pain and want to get off pain killers. Ill say a prayer your pain gets better. Say one for me too please... Im strong today but deep inside Im afraid of tomorrow. I go to bed an addict and Ill wake up an addict. I need all the help I can get.!

That's so true throw - TIME.  As addicts, I think we inherently want everything and we want it now!  But you can not underestimte the power of time.  :)

Anybody notice I havent posted any craving posts? I just noticed I have not been having cravings!! OMG...!  They do get better. I dont wanna keep posting new posts. If your struggling or hurting or wding. Keep the faith. Believe in yourself. Give time a chance to heal your mind, body and spirit. Thats all you have to do. Give it time.

A BIG CONGRATS! Day 30 must be great. Only 9 more for me. I can totally relate to your post about those with pain. I'm like you, just a junkie and it makes the guilt and shame harder to handle, but quitting IS doable. Keep focused, you sound like you have this one beat. Stay true to yourself, life is much better without the dope as we all are finding out.

Got that 30 day tag last night. It felt really good and  I could see I made alot of people there very proud.  Theyve seen me flounder and fail for awhile. Im glad I have a place to go to get help. Im so happy for that. My focus is on 60 now. Being clean is the best feeling in the world. Thanks everyone for your help. Ill keep up my end of the bargin for sure. THIS TIME! HAHA. Oh, afew people were back from relapsing and they made me soooo proud. It takes guts to get your butt back in the saddle. I am SO SO proud of you!!  I've been watching your posts for a while now and you've come a long way haven't you?  And you have learned so much about your addiction and your triggers and I totally get that you need to "reset" the 30 day clock tomorrow.  Good for you that you're getting to know yourself in that way.  Like I said, VERY proud of you!  CONGRATULATIONS!!
