24 HOURS CLEAN!!

Well, I never thought I would sit here and type this. 24 hours with NO hydrocodone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to my dr, got Valium LEGALLY (OMG when was the last time I got a script the right way?!!?) and have taken 2 10 mgs today. I did not tell her about any addiction, but I knew to get over the rough point I had to tell her I needed it. I won't lie, its been tough, there have been times today where I thought my muscles were rubber bands, or certain parts of my body felt extremely hot. Sleeping is much harder. But the valium has been a help. Honestly, I hate the feel of benzos, they make me feel lethargic compared to hydros which did the opposite. They hyped me up. But I tell myself its just temporary (the physical part at least) I have finally admitted to myself that there are mental and emotional aspects of this that have to be dealt with after I get over the worst! Thank you so much for all of your support!!!

man,  know its tough, but you know the first result, its ****, you know you are mentally done, so why not beat the mentally physical part, and feel great, you know you want to wake up every morning and fell better and better

i myself am going through a cocaine issue, its day 5 for me, and i know ill never do it again, my heart has said enough is enough, and so have I

I want to keep seing you post, as you will see I post, we both have stopped what were doing, and found this website to help us, **** yah, cya, i still drink, but thats all.

It is sooo great you made the fist day. In a couple of the days you will be done with the w/d's. Moving helps too. Walking, even just walking around the house helps.

Congrats!! 24hours yeah!!! I know at times it feels like time stands still. I also had a vicodin addiction. Physically my withdrawals lasted 1-4days and now its all mental. Keep up the good work and soon you'll be day 7 like me!!!

so glad you recognize the mental aspect.  i ope you have lined up some type of aftercare...counselling, na/aa, pastorial counselling, something to get through it, and find out why you use....remember it is important...congratson the 24 hours...its definately one day at time....you can do it..
