Day 10 clean! experiencing stomach issues
i been having stomach issues the past few days. like my stomach is bloating and i deep burping up air. and my stomach feels nervous. my bowl movements have increased and not watery but not 1 solid piece. sorry for being so detailed. wondering if this is normal?
Honey...my bowel movements were one uber Huge reason I needed to stop abusing pills .....my gut issues are just NOW starting to level out into some semblance of normalcy .....I'm over two years in! .....but....I abused for over 25 years.
You are SOOOOOO fresh into this clean time.......don't expect things to snap back "just like that".....you will set yourself up for disappointment at the very least, but worse, set yourself up to fail. Focus on doing everything "right", and eventch all will be!
You're still expelling toxins from your body and may be doing that for awhile. ..."subjective", right?
Live in the "now" .......it's the easiest way to thwart disappointment.

I remember back in the prime of getting high ( first year) every now and then I would get horrible stomach cramps and pains. That I would curl up on the floor and debate the hospital. I'm clean now and I don't have pains but my stomach gets a bloated air bubble then I fart or stomach growls.
Congrats on day 10! This is all normal I am on day 96 and still have some days like this! Keep up the good work and on to day 11!

Most of us had major adjustments in our stomachs/bowels....opiates REALLY affect our entire bodies, but particularly our tummies because we have opiate receptors in our guts, too.
Time (the 4 letter word we despise..lol) is the answer.

Congrats on 10 days!! Yes this is normal. Seems the wd's have to come back one last time for a day or 2 just to remind you. Gaviscon can help with this but they are hard to chew as it feels and tastes like chalky marshmallows.
