6 years clean of hydros! And 91 days clean of Suboxone!
Oct 28 2007 is the day I decided no more Vicodin. I found a Sub doc and commited to changing my life. It's also my birthday! July 28 2013 I decided no more Suboxone controlling my life. So I jumped at .50mg. It's been one hell of a ride but I'm 91 days clean off of everything! I am so happy and full of energy and enjoying being with my daughter and working part time. Getting off Sub is 2 times harder than trying to detox from Vic...for me at least. But I was on it for almost 6 years!
I hope everyone is doing well and fighting the good fight out there! I'm sorry I haven't been around everyday like I used to be. I still read posts everyday. My prayers and positive thoughts are with you all! From 1 hour clean to 30 years! Cheers everyone!!

Grats! Reading your posts gives me hope too, hope that I can find a better life off drugs.I imagine myself playing with my nieces on a playground and running around and laughing with them. I thought for the longest time that Suboxone was a death sentence cause so many people in my area cannot get off of it and they give up. It's just recently that I know it isn't true and that recovery and a better life is possible. TY for giving me hope and congrats on your new life :)

3 years from Vicodin and 91 days from subs is something to be very proud of. I'm at around 130 days myself and it only gets better, keep up the great work. Amazing my friend!
