Its OK to not be OK..

ya know... Addict feel that it has to be better all the time. It does not..It is absolutely Ok not to be OK..

Not being OK is normal. Its how we (addicts) deal with it. So before we medicate, think about what is in your controll. Change it if possible, if not, know that it will pass.

Vent, Share, but dont isolate..

Be Blessed

I loved your post!!! Because I am just shy of a month and there are times I am really not ok!!! Sometimes I get down on myself because everyone elso on here seems so much happier than me. I am still for the most part just pushing through still, Have a lot to deal with in my life since I am not medicated!!! Loved what you said makes me feel like it is ok to feel the way I do. Very easy to isolate for me this time of year, thanks for a great post

Thanks Brother,

I hear ya on that one.  There are often times where my head is in a rough space and won't get better immediatly.  Even after doing an inventory and asking for whatever it is to be removed I can still be in a bad space.  The one thing I have learned to do is not make it worse.  I try to accept how I am and then leave it alone.  If I worry about how I feel or feel sorry for myself when I'm not ok, I just make it worse.  Learning to be grateful for not being ok is the trick. LOL!!!
