You have alot on your plate.  I have degenerative hip disease so i know how you feel.  When i came off of my pills after awhile my pain decreased and i can control it with Motrin when i need it.  I would really recommend some sort of aftercare.  There is always a reason why we medicate ourselves.  You can get off these pills and be happy again.....It takes alot of strength and determination but you can do it.  We are here to support you.....now lets get you clean and start living!!!

Thanks for the reply dsarah...Well I have Hepititus C and I am type 2 diabetic...no issues with either...I mean I am not sick and can still motivate pretty good. i am divorced with a retarded son who is 38 years old that is in a group home ....I love him very much.....I am pretty depressed most of the time...Maybe thats why I go to the drugs..to make me feel better.I think I can endure the hip pain without the drugs.... really havent tryed for long.

Once we cross that line of abusing we continue on that path until we chose to quit.  If you are serious about quitting the first thing to do would be calling and canceling your doctors appt.  Are you healthy otherwise other than your hip?
