That sounds great so glad to see your doing fine and glad to see you decided to kick the habit before you get in deeper like i have If I had it to do over again I would have stopped back when I made it them 4 days without tramadol but no I just went up sounds like you have a good Doc since he knows about how bad withdraws are I wish you luck and keep it up
The addiction specialist I saw is actually awesome. He put me on 7 days of neurontin for my pain and clonidine for withdrawal symptoms as well as remeron for sleep. I didn't even use the remeron though because neurontin makes me sleepy. I have heard neurontin can be addictive but I can say it was a miracle for the symptoms and I don't plan on taking it anymore. Just got me through the really hard days. I feel almost human again. He said tramadol is one of the most difficult opiates to withdrawal from as well as being one of the longest. I am so happy to be on the other side of it now though. I will continue working with him as long as possible. He has been doing this for 38 years as well as being someone who has gone through it himself with vicodin. That's why he became an addiction medicine doctor.
I was on Tramadol for several years I went to work out of town anf forgot them at home it felt like pure hell for 4 days they are very addictive that is how I got to where I am today 4 Loratab 10 And 2 Methadone 10s a day but I am currently wheening myself down hope its not gonna be much worse than being without the tramadol I read somewhere they where harder than the Tabs If my doctor would have warned me about thr tramadol I would have never started taking any pills so now I warn everyone about them any advice would be great
