Just thought I would stop in and say hi. I hope all of you are doing well. Things are great here, I am really starting to get the energy back. I know its been a long road but well worth it. I still have mental cravings once in awhile but they fade after a few minutes. I hope you all have a great day.

its like reading my own dairy I haven't had beer in probably almost two years. I would come home from work and put in movies. Iam wouldn't even rent or take my boys to blockbuster. I just download everything from thepiratebay.  In fact my 5 year old an i r watching voltron a cartoon from when I was a child. Downloaded it a few days before I started detox. Boy its funny to watch him enjoy it.  The whole summer never even went on bike rides with my kids. Man a piece of ****. I want this to end NOW!!!

One other thing is, I took my son to the movies and out to eat which was a blast he is 3 1/2 years old and we saw alvin and the chipmunks. That is something I never would have done while one the pills. When I get home (wife works 2p to 11p) I actually play with my kids and spend QUALITY time with them. while on the pills I would just pop the boobtube and just sit there. My life has gotten so much better and it will continue to only get better. I just can't believe how much I missed while on the pills. All my friends I didn't go out with (I didn't like to drink while on pills, not sure why) So after 3 years a lot of them stopped calling. I am mending those relationships and it seems that your true friends will always welcome you back. Life is to precious to waste living in a haze and not feeling. Just thought I would share that.

Thank you for all your support and just know that it does get better. It gets better each day. You will have some bumps in the road but as long as you don't try to swerve and avoid them and just take them head on you will be alright. I hope everyone of you makes it through this and take your life back.

Congrats!  I feel the same way, as I am on day 74.
It is amazing all the things that I didn't realize I was doing and how everyone close to me new and I thought I was so discreet.  It feels good to admit the truth to all my friends, even though most of them I don't want to be around anymore. I have a clean palate and plan to draw a new picture of myself.  If you can look up the poem The Dash, it really makes you think!
