avis you are no doubt 7 months clean and don't even need to question that. you have done so well and should be very proud, we are for sure.

trouble same for you. you actually both deserve more clean time for not abusing them cause that take some strength. for anyone doubting themselves right now, these 2 ladies are proof it can be done. way to go girls.

i struggled with the same questions and thoughts myself recently. In the end i ultimately realized its not counted against clean time because:
1) I did not abuse my percs for my broken hand and in fact took way less than prescribed
2) I did not get high off them
4) I had them Rx me a different med other than my DOC
3) I am flushing the rest of the bottle as soon as Im sure I wont need anymore of them. (hand pain is much better now, not constant pain, it just gets to throbbing unbearably about once a day or so when i overuse it)

You are in similar situation. you had gallstones for god sakes, major major pain! You definitely should not count this against your clean time. Im proud of you girl! and btw how are you doing? Im not sure i f  i missed an update or not- did the stone pass or is it still in there somewhere, do you need more tests yet? I hope you are not hurting too much still! been thinking about you!

Congrats on 7 months!  And yes, you must still concider yourself clean. Someday we will all probably encounter a medical situation thats we will need to take pain meds of some kind. Hopefully we can all think of how strong you are, and use you as a inspiration to get thru it.

I would not count it!  the oxy you have to take...I mean like in 5 years if I have surgery and I have to take a lortab or they give me IV pain medication in the hospital...Will I be back at day 1 clean...I certainly hope not...good luck with your gall bladder

if they werent abused, and it was medically necessary, arent you allowed that?  i think so, thats my opinion,  no one should have to start over on clean time because of legit medical problems and/or emergencies...right?

Yes ! Happy Anniversary definatley !   The way I see it , this was totally outta your control and not at all because you were weak. It's not a relapse.  If anything you have proven how strong you are.  I would have gobbled all the pills up.lol
7 MONTHS IS INCREDIBLE !  CONGRADULATIONS !
By the way how are you feeling ?   Are they gonna take out your gallbladder ?
Big Hug,
Mary

In our lives we are going to have to face the fact that we are human.  We are going to come against the same thing that the normies come against.  It is in how we handle it that makes the determination.  To thy own self be true.  Just because we are addicts does not mean we are intended to suffer.  Happy anniversary!!!
