dont think that ambien is the way to go cuz its really easy to get a hold on and very eddictive once you have detoxed..if after 2 months you havent been able to sleep and have been using ambien, then theres your problem. trow away your ambien an go cold turky on the insomnia stage...honestly after two months what you gotta do is (this is what I did after my w/d period) turn of the tv, maybe go to a music store and buy a relaxation cd or some natural atmospheres music and black out your room completely...ohh also one thing that helped me was to buy a small floor fan and placed it next to my bed and poiting away from my bed, the monotone sound of the fan will isolate your mind and help you get some sleep...

I hate the not sleeping part.  It's been a little over two months for me and I still have to take ambien for sleep and sometimes that doesn't even get it.  I take hot baths, and sometimes I'll just start writing and maybe do it for a couple of hours, but I'll tell you what it helps me sleep.

i know that this might not be the healthiest way. but maybe halve of a 2mg xanax bar will knock you out but that if you really have be clean for more that five days(i mean not a single drugn in your system) ohh well I had to do that just cuz my work was very important and needed my refrexes at a high, and the xanax helped me getting some sleep. But as mentioned above, THE 30 MIN HOT BATH is the best for right now...if you cant get hold of xanax...

I wasn't able to sleep either during the first 5 nights and I did wish that someone would just knock me out!! LOL!! I did buy some Excedrin PM as Tylenol PM didn't work for me. That did give me a least a couple of hours sleep. Hey I've got a nice cast iron skillet, would you like me to bring it over??
