awww man do i really have to answer that. I guess about 7 years since i started back up again. I had quit once before and yeah I wanna quit but part of me doesn't. I've heard the chantix makes you nauscious (not sure of that spelling) and my stomach is already a mess. So i keep putting it off.
If your able to do the sub I hear it is great for getting through the withdrawls but being that you really don't wanna quit right now you got to have some support to stay off. It's hard enough to stay clean even when you want to.
Welcome to the forum....
IBKleen said it all.....i also think that counseling is a very good idea,
.You need to get to the root of the reasons why you use "to feel better"
'Good luck and keep posting!!!
OK....starting a Suboxone program is surely a good first step, but I have to advise that you do it under a doctor's supervision. You should not self-medicate with it.
Counseling is an excellent idea. There are reasons and issues that cause us to use drugs and if you don't get to those issues, you will continue to repeat your behavior.
At the age of..I am guessing 19?....going on 20, you have your whole life ahead of you and if you continue down this road, it will be taken away.
I don't know why you are scared to go to NA meetings. No one there will bite you. Why don't you just try it? Go to one and sit in the back and listen.
Now is your chance to turn your life around.

You sound like me and the chantix I have sitting in the drawer. I have it to quit smoking and i've had it for a month now. Problem is I'm not ready to quit smoking and it sounds like your not quite ready to quit the norco. Hopefully you got the sub from a dr and have been instructed on how to use it. You have to be ready to quit the pills. Are you ready?
Us folks on the right coast are up.
Where did you get the Suboxone?
