Im comming up on three weeks!!! I read posts on here everyday and it makes me sad to hear the pain people are in. Sad when I see a post one day and then that person is gone. I hope they got clean and are better. I know most relapsed. Ive done the dissapearance thing myself. I also read posts and it makes me SO happy to hear that people are doing good. Thats the best part. So almost 3 weeks under the belt and thats the best thing ever for me. Its not easy. Ive got life stuff going on that gets the addict in me going. Ive found great stength telling that addict to shut up and leave me alone. I know Ill make the month mark. Id have to get hit by a truck for that to happen. Ill watch my step. I do feel alittle bit better each day. I feel good but not 100%. Close though. Its a great feeling not having pills or even thinking about them. The money I got goes to good things-like coffee! Im sleeping too! Without xanax or oxys! There really is a god. I was watchin the news this morning 1100 people died in FL from oxys!! the first half of 2010. I knew 2 of them. Sad. Really Sad...

to     dominosarah  yesterday haha. Oh it went. We had to fill out abunch of papers and come up with a parenting plan. I love my daugter and want her equal amounts of time. You know how things go with child support. Well things change alot when you share time 50 50. Mommy wants to keep her more and have me pay child support ALOT of child support. I pay it now and have her 3 nights a week. She wants to take my SUN nights and MON mornings when I bring her to school. I saw yesterday why were getting a divorce. Im going to stand my ground on this. Shes not gonna make me feel bad for being in my daughters life. She just wants to be in control like usual. Thanks for asking. The fights just began and Ive been I training. Im ready to go 12 rounds. Im such a peacful person and hate conflict. I just want to be the best dad and person I can be.


to duluthguy. I know bro. Were to peas in a pod. Ive watched your progress as well and it gave me alot of stength. Hey, its 3;30 in fl. Close enough man. Congrats on 19 days!!! You keep it up and Ill do the same. I got a birthday comming up the addict wants to party or wait use!!! Good thing my na home group is the same DAY!!! I wont do it bro! Im not giving in to it anymore.

Nice!! We have been going step in step, I too know that I will make the month mark now, tho like you I know them temptations will come. It's been so nice to see all the success stories, it makes me stronger and more determined than ever when I hear the ones that haven't made it... I don't look down on them not one little bit, one pill is all it would take... I'm proud of you bro, we are the same age and went through the WD's at the same time, I'm on day 19 today too!! Nicely done, keep strong, god bless!!

Good for you and keep it going. I know you're under some serious stress. So,if you can stay on track now,you can do anything. It gets a lot easier. I hope you have a lot of support because we can't do this alone.

Congrats on your clean time!!  You are sounding really positive.  Wouldnt it be great if we could save everyone.  How tragic, 1,100 people.  I never really paid attention to this sort of thing until after i quit using.  Hopefully more programs will be implemented to fight this addiction as it is sweeping the nation.          sara
