Addict with interstitial cystitis needing advice

I am a recovering addict whose choice of abuse is opiates..any pain pill i can get my hands on.  I will be 60 days clean in 2 days and i was recently diagnosed before i began my recovering journey with interstitial cystitis.  I have been having tremendously terrible pains and i know it is from my bladder.  At some points of the day it knocks my off my feet and i just lay in the floor until i can get up.  I have not followed up with a doctor(we recently moved across the US requiring me to find new doctor) and Im scared to see a doctor since that was my was of getting my fix.  Idw to be reminded of pills(not ready for that) but im worried my medical issue is getting worse.  Any advice on what to do or any ways to make my pain feel better at home. thanks

Interstitial cystitis is not something to be put off...If there is a university hospital near you, call and ask for physician referrals.  It is very hard, but be honest with the physician and let him/her know what has been going on with you.  Do you have a copy of your medical records with you?  That will be helpful in expediting your treatment.
