Thanks, everybody. Last night was just foul and disgusting. I took my Lorazepam, so I was sleepy, but the twitching made it hard to sleep. Flailed around for a long time, annoyed the cat, finally fell into a real sleep. Then the guys working on the apartment upstairs started up sawing and drilling and whanging, which will go on til 6 tonight.
Maybe I should just stomp up there and say "Yo, you got a person in withdrawal downstairs! Keep the effin' noise down!"
Or maybe I shouldn't. ;-)
Life on life's terms, I guess.
Feeling a bit bad but not horrible, thank God.
I will pray for you, joanne.
I'm on my 2nd week off tramadol and it's still hard. I'm going through DT cold turkey because i feel if i take anything esle, nothing will compare to tramadol. i'm fully aware of the risks and i try to take it easy. sleep wise i still have crawling and itchy feeling and aches are terrible. i can only suggest the same as to others with regards to hot baths and excerise. i wish i could help more but going through it myself i'm still learning to cope.
I found that exersize is a great help as well. Before going to bed ride a bike, walk, swim whatever it helps tremedously. This too shall pass. Your almost over the hump so hang tight love in Christ
It sounds like restless leg syndrome many also feel it in their arms.. The back usually feels tight and or hurts with a need to move.. All a part of wd but there is something that helps.. Hot baths or showers, it may calm it all down just long enough to get you to sleep.. I wish you well. lesa
