Tapering is the hardest of all to do. And, I always suggest that you have someone hold and dispense for you.
So, it looks like cold turkey for you. You need to be mentally prepared to do this. If you can take time off of work, do it. Set aside 5 or 6 days. Stock up on otc immodium and tyleol pm. Get soup and crackers and good bottled water. Keep pushing fluids. Mild exercise as soon as you can helps. Get a good book or rent some videos to keep your mind occupied.
It will be a lousy couple of days, but so well worth it in the end.

Forget the taper...go CT.
it's so much easier in the long run. Why drag it out? Don't pull the bandaid off slowly....just yank it off and be done with it!!

I vote for c/t too. Look in my journals for the Thomas recipe. It will help you. Heed the warnings about anti-depressants. It is doable. Everyone gets so worked up about w/ds. Yes sometimes they are bad but usually like a really bad flu for 3-4 days. Staying clean is the hardest part. Join NA if you can. Make a commitment to stay clean.
You really can do this. Lots of us have made it.

Look in my journals. Thomas recipe, also look at the amino acid one. Both have some good info.
