It could be a few weeks until you feel better. Everyday will be better but just not great for awhile. Be sure you're eating well and getting exercise. What you're feeling is average for this drug. Work at staying clean so you don't end up at this place again!!
You should be fine to drive.
Good luck~
Honestly, time is really what has helped me mostly. It'll happen for you too. I know its frustarting, but it will happen. I once thought the hard part was coming off pills, but have learned over the last several months that w/d was the easy part. The hearder part was learning new ways of coping and dealing. I have learned how to deal with the anxiety the best I can med free.
I took fioricet for a lot of years. I didnt know who I was without it... It was a huge part of my life for a long time and it actually helped me, but becasue I am an addict, I abused it.
Do you take vitamins? Are you under a doctors care?
There are others that will be on later that can offer more advice than me...
BTW for those of you who may not know what fiornal 3 is, it consist of butalbital, caffeine and LOTS of codeine. Any advise or support would help.
Thanks sweatinit. I run every morning since I can't sleep past 6 am. I also take a hot shower in the morning and a hot bath at night. I have tried EVERYTHING. Just want to be better so bad. Anybody else have some good advice or hopeful words.
Hi and welcome!
Congrats on getting off these pills. 9 days is a great start! Sleep will come naturally. I found that if I didnt force it, it just happened. A little bit more each night. I take calcium vitamins and they really help. I also workout a little it. Sometimes I walk, ride a bike or kickbox. That seems to keep my anxiety at bay and makes me really tired. Lastly, I have changed my diet. I am a sugar addict too...lol, but really try to stay away from processed foods and sugar as much as possible.
Hang in there. There are some other folks (with more clean time with this drug) who may be on later that can give you some hope...
