severe methadone withdrawal,day3 miserable night last night,had a few beers this a.m.am I doing myself more harm than cold turkey alone?

alcohol could make the w/d's worse on you. try to get some Boost or Ensure and some B vitamins. It will help some but you will suffer you were taking a lot for a long time, I was on it for 4 years and I am on day 27 and although the physical symptoms have subsided I am still dealing with the emotional part. I feel really good today though. Good Luck and feel free to take a look at my journals there is some good info in there....hang in there if I can do this cold turkey anyone can believe me..........
