Don't know if anyone remembers me or not but I came here to stop my addiction to Oxy . My Dr wanted me to stay on them until I hit a pian blocking implant . I get the implant on feb.th . I is wiring for the most part very well . The right side if my back now has 100% relief . Still have a fair amount on the left side and middle of my back BUT the implant is giving me the same reflief that the Oxy's were giving me .! Now the hard part I have to the point I want off the oxys starting today . I have about 40 5mg left over and will use they only as needed to get thru the WD's unless I get information in here to go cold turkey . What do you think should I use them for the next few days to help me come down or go cold turckey ? I have a lot of Valium also should I use these for the depression ? That's the one thing I get very very depressed so bad that I just ( not just saying this I mean it very much ) want to kill myself !! Please any and all support wil and would be great . My doctor has no idea I'm doing this he won't be back until Monday the 25th . But I won't have enough to keep taking them the way I was . So I need to do something anyway . I have pain still from the surgery from the implant being put in but I can handle that pain it's not real bad . Please please please !!! I have no one I can turn to help me right now !! Is it harder to stop if a person was crushing them and snorting the cause that what I was doing because they stopped working with just taking them . This is the first I have said anything about doing them this way no one knows but you on here now . I didn't even say anything about it the first time I was in here . How long until this depression will go away ? I'm ok right now but know its coming . Can I take the Valium to help with it ? Please help me !! I want off these so bad !! Like I said I have these 5mg about 40 of them and I have loratab 5-500 tabs to help if you think I should use them for a few days to help me taper down . I was taking upwards of a total 150mg a day . What will be my Betsy corse to take starting right now . I did take a 5 mg Oxy and 2 Valium today so far .
I dont have a ton of expierence at all with this, but I was on 120mg of hydro a day and tapered to 20 and then went CT from there. It was hard and i have replapsed but everyone says to taper and I believe it. I would have been MUCH worse if I would have CT from the 120. but its really hard to monitor yourself and only take what you need. this process has fFORCED me to admit that I am an addict as I dont have the control I think I do over it. lots of soul searching, and plan for some time to feel really bad- more like an awful flu, and it will be ok.
get some natural sleeping vitamins from whole foods if you can, they have fish oil, valerian, gaba and melentonin in it. they have helped me tons along with gaba when i feel anxious.

In the past when I tried to stop . Not right now . I will go to the ER if I must I just want off these pills !'
Hi, I'm glad you found your way back. It's kinda slow right now. I see you say you have been here before, so you know there will be lots of support for you.
Having said that though, your statement about saying you really want to kill yourself scares me, and I don't know if you mean in previous attempts to quit, or if you are feeling that right now. If so.. Go to the ER please. They can help you, and, at least in my state, must admit you if you express suicidal thoughts. Even if you have no insurance.

No it blocks the pain with electrical pluses . Thanks for the information about the Valium . I was going too use it more to knock me out if things got real bad lol .
Hey, glad you are back. Sounds like the pain implant thingy worked out good for you. I know absolutely nothing about them though. Does it inject pain meds into you? How does it work?
As far as valium goes, it is a benzo for anxiety. It is not good for depression.
