Day 383, and still going....congrats to all. If I could do it, anyone can and that is the truth..
13 days is great!! One day at a time~~~
Many years ago I went thru a stretch of years of taking Vicodin and I remember thinking "God I can't believe I used to live without these pills". Then I quit for quite a stretch of years and I remember thinking, "God I can't believe I used to live taking those pills every day". Then I started taking them again but I always remembered the period of 6 or 7 years in between and I can't wait till I get back to, "God I can't believe I used to live taking those pills". :)
13 days feels good, but I want to say 2 months or something.
Congrats to everyone on their clean time!! It is so important to make yourself the No1 priority and do whatever it takes to stay on the road to recovery. This should be the most sacred thing in your life. Dont fear the unknown, look at it as a new adventure. sara
535 days thanks to the grace of God, AA, and my family and friends.
How do I feel now that I am sober and working a strong program of recovery? Amazing! Just like I am supposed to!
For anyone struggling with cravings, do yourself a favor and get to an AA/NA meeting, find a sponsor, and work the steps. I haven't had a true craving in over a year, and seldom even think about drugs or alcohol. It works if you work it!
Well done guys and gals, I love reading these. We all rock:)
Thank you for all the help I got last night here, I got my mind back today LOL.
