Baclofen, immodium, lyrica for w/d?

Looking for nybody who has tried some or all of these to help the w/d symptoms. Thinking of adding low dose ativan or xanax to the mix and rotating them to help me through the withdrawals. Anyone have any input?

I agree with Februarystars. I took 8-10 imodium twice a day and just took less & less a day because you can have a few withdraws from it. My recommendation is to google "imodium for opiate withdraw". It helped alot with my physical withdraws like rls which was always my breaking point. I took an ativan to help me sleep & I also went to the dr for an anti depressant because I've needed one for a while. Just don't take 20-30 imodium at one time, way less works great. Good luck!

hello PHM548,
I have tried the loperamide (immodium) route to detox before.
I read about it online in a forum such as this. The dude on the online forum, lets call him MrX,  was taking about 20 2mg tabs/day. I took 8 2mg tabs a twice a day. Then halfed the intake consecutively till I weened right off. Mr.X had absolutley no physical WD, I had a few. The loperamide did help a lot, and is a definate affordable route to go. Ive even read about another person only taking 6 2mg tabs for the whole day and felt great. Everybody is different. For the bunging up thoughts regarding this route....it wasnt that bad. Most opiate users know that they bung you up anyway, so whats a lil immodium gonna do compared to the strength of an opiate? When your detoxing, you got the p00ps anyways. Didnt have an affect that way.
Try it out, see how it works for you, and look into other resources as well to help you get thru this difficult time in your life. Then mental part of the addiction can definatly play a big role in sobriety too. Best wishes!

Hey, the Lyrica will help it will "calm your nerves" so to speak. But I am not sure about all the other ones. I am not a Dr or anything and I have never taken my medication other then how prescribed but when I first started taking the Lyrica it made me very VERY tired and sluggish. I didnt take any of my other pain pills that day so maybe it is good for withdrawal it makes you not need anything else? I dunno.. only Drs know what is going on with meds, sometimes not even them lol But I think you will do fine if you just take small amounts.

I hope these things are prescribed to only you... If you take someone elses pills it could have some serious ramifications I hope you understand that! Please call your dr for help they will help you there are more people addicted to pain pills then you think and you wont be the first person they have helped. They are ethically obligated to "do no hrm" so hopefully you look into that aspect of help =)

Have a great day!
