HI......sorry to here you having a tuff time but for a lot of us its ruff coming off this stuff ...I/Vmorphine is a strong habit to break you need to start telling yourself you dont want another shot....I know it would make the pain go away but it would start the whole cycle over again....keep in mind relapse start to happen days ahead of time when we start entertaining thoughts like I would do anything for a shot...you need to change up your thinking b/4 you make the mistake and use....with hard habits it usually takes a month or so to start to feel better you will slowly make progress just not as fast as you would like hang in there
it would be a good idea to check out a N/A meeting it will give you somewhere to share and be around people that understand good luck and God bless.....Gnarly
How are you doing???? Haven't heard from you please post and let us know.---Rick
The fact you stopped shows that you have it in you to last. You can do this. People here will help and support. Keep going, this is a huge step in your life and I think it is so wonderful you decided to stop. YOU CAN DO THIS
Hi! Yes...everything Rick suggested. Also, hot baths will really help. Take them and often! What's your temp? Take Motrin 800mg 3x per day. Force those fluids! Dehydration will cause fever, pain, and shaking! Get some vitamins and minerals in you. Drink orange juice and eat a few bananas. You need to go after the symptoms. Once you feel a bit better, you may not crave so much.
Get a heating pad/electric blanket and wrap up! Drinking and eating is major here so do that and you'll feel better soon! Get some support for the addiction okay?
All the best--
Antoinette--Congrats on 15 days, First of all take a deep breath, the pain you are feeling is probably rebound pain and should go away soon. Do you have a doctor you can trust? because the fever is not a usual symptom of w/d. You should go and get a check up just to make sure. Exercise and stretching helps alot with the pain so I know its hard but try to do as much as you can. Also try some breathing exercises as it helps alleviate tension and stress. So hand in their you are doing great and I will be praying for you. God Bless---Rick
