Burning up

I am taking Suboxone in an effort to sustain from using other drugs. My problem is I am constanly on fire and sweating profusely. I can be in a room that is 40 degrees and the sweat will soak my clothes. Frankly, I'm getting sick and tired of showering in the morning and 15 minutes later I'm soaked.

Does anyone else have this problem or possibly know of something that I could do to prevent this? Getting off the Suboxone is not an option, at least not right now.

Help!

Maybe a lower dosage could help but more than likely its just a side effect that your going to have to deal with. I had the sweating problem while I was on sub but it was the same as when I was taking methadone or other opiates. Hopefully someone else has a better answer for you, take care.

Hi,
I started sub in June. 24mg per day. I started sweating just like you do.
My next visit when the dr went down the check list of symptoms, I answered yes to sweating abnormally. He dropped me to 16mgs a day. Still no relief. Told him again. I am now taking 8mgs a day. 4 in am amd 4mgs in afternoon. still sweating but not as bad. How much are you taking? Are you going to a sub dr?
If yes you need to tell the dr. If he is a good sub dr he will adjust your mgs.
good luck
