Hey I am new to this site and this blog biz. Does the rapid detox work?is it true some insurance covers it?I heard if you use your insurance they will deny coverage in the future. As I lay here hurting worse in my back and neck than ever with only enough pills to keep the withdrawls so I can stand it, my mind dying to take one I know that I will be in worse shape before Monday.I have been hooked for the last 7 years.takin min of 12 10mg percs a day . I wish I had all the ones back that I took and did not need. I been up two days and have talked myself out of going to the emergency room and runnin up another bill I can't pay it hurts to think of all the money I have thrown away on pills. Just so I can
function. I ran dry back in January tried cold turkey I guess I wasn't man enough for it. I went to suboxone on the fourth day only using a crumb a day to help with the constant diareah. I onlyfilled 10 of that scrpit and used three of em before I was back on the percs. It's sad to think that we need that **** to function like puppet on        A string. It's even worse to know when they finally patch me up they only gonna write the script for a Normal person. My MRI says L1thru L4 are chronic I guess that means they can't fix it? First thought that came to mind was that running script they will give me. But I do want to be clean again and am gonna try. Past coupl of days is first time I been half way straight around the house it makes me wonder if my family would even know me.I know alot of people who truly must have the meds to manage thier pain I just wish Id had enough self control to end up here knowing the whole time where I was headed. The more I lay here and hurt and want that dope I get even madder at my self. I guess I deserve to hurt for all the people I hurt.what a Moroni must look like

Detox is tough.  Rapid detox works, but it is not the magic bullet that the places make it out to be.  I went through an "accelerated detox" vs. the "rapid detox".  The program is 3 - 8 days, depending on the drug you are taking.  For oxy, it is 3 days.  I went through the detox to get off suboxone, so it was an 8 day plan for me.  My insurance did not cover it, but this program is about 1/3 the cost of the rapid detox.  Rapid detox can be very dangerous because anesthesia is used and it is a huge shock to the system.  Check out The Coleman Institute online - this is the place that I went.  If you have any questions or want to chat with me - just message me - I am happy to share anything about my experience.  I am on day 302 today and have never felt better.

Anything works if you make it work.It is YOU that is the master of your own fate.YOU make it work.
Everything else is a tool to help you along, but the final person to make it work is you.
You can try ibuprofen and /or tylenol in recommended doses for the rebound pain and may find out like I did that once the rebound pain subsided, the otc pain meds are quite adequate.
Detox is tough, but it can and has been done by many and then you have to have some aftercare planned.
Good luck and keep posting
