Codeine detox & relapse

Hi! I had 6 /2 month clean time. Then I relapsed. Now it's back to square one. I stay off codeine for 4 days at max, then relapse for a day, stay off it for a day then relapse.

I'm going completely crazy.

During the first few days of detox, I'm sleeping about 20 hours a day.

I need a plan that would allow me to not feel depressed, stay focused, have control over my behaviour, & do things other than sleeping.

Please help.
I'm in dire need of some strength & advice.

Thanks.

coming off codeine is hard, but you can do it, you need to drink lots of fluids, light exercise, look at the health pages for the thomas recipe, things in that will help you with the physical stuff,  but you need some aftercare to stop you relapsing, you are on a bit of a merry go round at the moment, try AA/NA,  or therapy, counselling, i wish you wwll.

ok codeine, its not the worst to withdrawal from, actually i took it for months until i got on the oxy's and coming off it was never a problem for me like ever i didnt have any sick or mental feelings and never really cared to take any unless desperately needed the pain relief so i dont understand the problem people have with it, but none the less you are having issues with it, so take it like any addiction, you came here and thats a good first step keep talking about how you are feeling and we can help, im sure your going through just a hard of time as we all are those of us getting clean, hey at least you are sleepin! thats awesome! :)
