DALESALIVE

I feel so lucky to still be alive after my recent abuse of OXY 80's. I tried methadone and I feel that it is a drug mainly to make the clinics prosper handsomely more than anything. They start you at 30 mg and increase that usually on a weekly basis until you are "hooked" on it and they  legally are getting your money (though much less) you WERE giving the dealer. Also, in my experience, you receive a license to do as many additional drugs you want without fear of being booted out. I did not see any "plan" other than to get money from you as long as possible. I now self medicate BUPES and this is going very well. The only question is- Are they addicting also? I have read where they can make yor hands numb and I can testify to that being true. If I don't take the bupes, sometimes I don't even want to get out of the chair; no drive, no ambition and no energy. My family physician cannot presribe them for me so I have to go to the street which is not always a"sure thing". I would enjoy corresponding with other folks in my situation.

I have taken suboxone as well, and this is what i've found about it. The suboxone has horrible withdrawals that go on and on and on, and really wears on people. They make you so miserable for so long. Personally I would rather just get the detox over with the oxy, however, if you have tried to get off your DOC several times and keep relapsing and just can't seem to find a way to make it work, then suboxone may be a viable choice for you. However, the key to using suboxone is to get to the core of your issues while you are on it. Like you said it gives you the energy, drive, ambition, etc. so if you can work on yourself and start a support group at meetings, or go to an addiction therapist, then when you come off the suboxone you already have all that stuff in place and can continue to go to meetings, work with a therapist, or whatever it is you were doing. Just make sure you know all the good and bad to suboxone and make sure it is a choice you definitly want to make before doing it.

i hate Methadone, but it keeps me from being sik until my next script,, but i am VERY careful not to take too much , or take it too long, also it has a long half life , so builds up in system.

when the time comes , i want to kik for 4 or 5 days , not months!

never taken sub. yet and if i can help it never will, it works on a different receptor , has a ceiling effect and a very long half life , and is a whole different animal......

i wonder whatever happened to theeagle??/?
