no such thing as a last resort just a method you havent tried yet. Keep the faith you can do this your mind might tell you otherwise sometime but slap it around and knock some sense into it :) you can do this good luck

I had trouble with the depression and anxiety as well. I went on Lexparo and it really helped. Not advocating it, just telling youwhat helped me. I'm 4 months clean on Saturday, and have been off of it for a month now.
And as GoingToMakeIt said, exercise really helps.
It WILL get better!!

Hugs and kisses your way, keep your chin up and try to exercise that helps me a little but then get ungry about the exercise so the depression desapiers lol.

I know we have talked about the amino's, vitamins and all the different things that help with getting better and feeling better and it can get really confusing.
For about the past 4 days I have taken the 5htp (took 2 one day but decided to just take one per day for now) for mood and ltyrosine for energy(was taking 1 per day but now take 2 per day.)
I just wanted to say that I can honestly see a difference with those 2 things. For example, I woke up this morning pretty lethargic and really felt like staying in bed but I got up made my coffee and took 1 ltyrosine and within an hour I felt good.
This is so weird but for the past day or so I find myself looking forward to taking 5htp and ltyrosine to make me feel better rather than the 2mg of sub I started today. I know it will be these things along with vitamins and the protein shakes that will make the difference and I already feel like I have turned a corner.
I just have to say that you are one strong woman and I have the greatest respect for you in all that you have accomplished. I don't know what all the answers are but I am here if you need me. Lyn
thank's lisa I to have to force myself to do stuff. I hope that one day I will be able to look back and say I did this and am better off because of it. I want so bad to be free from all drugs and in time I am hoping to accomplish this. All I can do is take it one day at a time. I really need to get my depression in check I hate feeling so low. None of us would be able to do the♥..lol I am sorry your feeling so down..Congrats for being off the methadone..that is no easy task..I have found that i have to force myself to do pretty much everything still, but I am not so sure I can attribute that to the lack of drugs..Exercise is a wonderful thing as GTMI said..I have yet to give in ti the dark chocolate though..LOL But it's worth a shot..glad to see you posting..Good luck with the sub taper..I hope it helps you..much♥♥to you..Lisa

You bet. I do know that SamE and 5htp(some like that at night only) Increasing your Omega3s helps too. Dark chocolate in small amounts lifts the mood too. another very good one is Rhodiola. try this a little at a time to see how you do. For those it works on, it is a wonder drug.

Have you looked into amino acids and supplements for depression? Look in the Health Pages at the bottom right of page. Exercise helps too. It raises your endorphin production which gives a mood and energy lift.
