Hydro to help with suboxone w/d..?!

This is my first time posting. I took norcos upwards of 6 yrs. got up to 30-40 a day. Was put on suboxone, took it for 30 days tapering down pretty well. I am now on day 8 of no suboxone but day 5 thru now I have been taking a half of a hydro a couple times a day to ease the withdrawn. Main reason is I am going thru this with no support. My "live in" boyfriend doesn't know anything bout me ever taking anything. In the forums I've read bout taking the hydro to help with the w/d they always say don't do it cuz ur gonna re-lapse. Trust me, I'm not. I jus want to know if anyone out there has done it this way & what there result was. Cuz I'm still feeling pretty bad on day 8 so I'm hoping a couple halfs of hydro didn't f**k me. You are playing with fire and you will get burnt.  Having any type of pills in the house is a bad idea in the first place.  We cant abuse our bodies like we did and expect not to feel bad for awhile.  It is the nature of the beast.  Doing it our way got us in this situation to begin with and doing it your way right now is a set up for disaster.  We are only telling you this cuz we have been there.  Hopefully at some point you can tell your bf what is going on......

I agree with IBK your brain and body cannot heal if you keep taking the opiates. And it is a slippery slope.  Do you have after care set up?

I have to be honest, you are treading on dangerous ground. You need to break the cycle of taking one pill to get off another pill over and over again.

Those one or two you are taking will bring you right back to where you were and maybe even more.

If you quit now you will have minimal withdrawal if any. Are you ready to do that?
