Staying strong and still working the mental times out with myself but at this moment my mind is really at ease!! First day ive really felt "normal" through all of this but I know it can turn in an instant. Gotta take the good with the bad and to remember I got myself in this situation and I will get myself out...no turning back now,I will not go through this again!!!! God bless u all and lets keep fighting the good fight!!!

Congratulations on 11 days and getting through all the tough stuff with flying colors! Always remember that detox is an event, probably one you'll never want to forget. But as days turn into months and heading for years, you might begin to forget. That's why we get into aftercare. Aftercare is the recovery process needed to remain clean. One reason to go is so we'll always remember; BC there's always an influx of newcomers who have just been out there and they tell us nothing has changed and it never gets any better out there. Another reason to go is aftercare enables a major change within us. If we don't change, nothing changes. And finally, I like to go because the recovering addict is my addiction's worst enemy. I can't but we can.

Congratulations on 11 days clean!  That is awesome, you probably have gotten through the thick of it by now...Thank God!  Just remember this time in your life in the future, when thinking of getting high again. It is a fight, a darn good fight...because you are worth it!!  We all are fighting the good fight everyday.  As addicts, it's like alcoholism...you can't touch it, not even once. Good for you!!!  Keep on knockin' down those days!!
