Good Job so far!! Yahooooo!!!! I DITTO ALL THE ABOVE!
I remember back on Sept 2012 when I went c/t from my 3 meds, I had anxiety/anxiousness to the Moon..Never have I experienced it before coming off of any other Substances. For the first 40 days I went out from 7 to 7 and kept really busy, then I hit that weak stage and could hardly walk..If I would of just kept PUSHING myself to this day it would of been a shorter detox.
SO Just have PATIENCE and give this TIME to all balance back..Meanwhile do all you can do as far as work or exercise. Diet & Vit/Min do play a big role in bouncing back. Redirecting your Thinking is a plus..I wish you the best and just keep stepping forward one baby step at a time..You will be walking those Big Steps soon.
Bless
Hi!
Congrats on 5 Days! Sorry if I didn't read this on a previous thread but what are you detoxing from and how much and how long? This all plays a big factor in how long our detox will take.
Its ok to be anxious to go back to work, just breath .. Focus on breathing or focus on what your hands are doing and not what the mind is thinking. That seems to help me get out of my head when I am panicking.
Hey....yeah going back to work is anxiety enough much less to still be detoxing. Stop watching the clock as that will make it worse! I swear! Gatorade, vitamins and eat healthy. That is honestly one thing I'm seeing, the healthier I eat, the better I feel (brain included). Have cut out fast food (for the most part) and started cooking again. Definatley has made a big difference. Hang in there and be positive....your getting there! I know you hear it all the time, but the word "push" is used b/c (I think) that's what we're literally doing...push to put one foot in front of the other, push, to open that door, push, push, push!!!! I got mad and used that to push! Whatever you have to do to stay clean!
I'm right here with you... I'm also on day 5 but I work construction and had to be back yesterday! I'm so tired and wore out lol ... I treasure the breaks I get now! So ready to get off and hit my bed
