Day 13

I am on day 13 of finally living life as a sober person again, I know I will always be a addict, but now I am a recovering addict. I have not felt normal in about 20 years from the addiction to Loratab's, but my mind is clearing now, and I am so inspired to be happy. I know there are temptations in everyday life, but in my mind the urge to put another pill in my mouth is gone.   Thank God for this site, where people encourage you, and you know you are not alone!!!  God Bless   Andrew

Thank you for the encouraging words they mean alot!!! I have stayed away from the old crowd that still uses and let them know not to ask me, or EVER offer me anything. I am done with being in a haze. God Bless

The body aches and the endless trips to the bathroom, I am finally over the cravings and I feel human again. This site helped alot

Congrats on 13 days!  Now that you are a recovering addict make sure to keep your guard up.  Our addiction talks to us when we least expect it.
