Day 14

Well, I've made it to the two week mark. It's been pretty much a constant mental battle. When I feel like caving, I'm able to get on here and read others posts. It helps me think positive again. Thank you all for sharing your struggles. I think it's so easy for us addicts to convince ourselves we are not worthy of having the life we desire... But we ARE!!!

Kyle, as usual, is giving you the key advice.  Cut off all supply.  Congrats on 2 weeks, remind yourself that you are healing that brain of yours day by day and that the mental battle will get easier as your brain heals.  You will also develop more tools to battle those cravings.  Keep going, your doing great.

Be sure to get after care and cut all sources to meds. These are the foundation to staying clean. Don't let you head talk you in to thinking that you can handle it - you can't. Congrats on time clean.

the mental battle is the hardest part for me too. as soon as i 'decided' to stop using the depression sets in...but then i have to remember the mental battle is what made me addicted and start using in the first place. those issues are still there needing to be addressed. i guess thats why aftercare is so importan..two weeks is awesome..i hope i can say that in 13 more days : (
