Day 4 hydro w/d so emotional

Hi friends! So here I am on day 4. Thought I would start to feel better but my stomach is still shot. I am extremely emotional. I called my dad and basically had a breakdown. He was a heroine addict for years but on methadone now. Guess i needed to vent. My mom died in 97 from prescription drug overdose. i raised my sis and bro when I was 20. Dad was in the streets or in jail! Realizing I never really had time to heal as I had to be strong and take care of my siblings. Then a few years later I had my own daughter. Ended an abusive relationship and became a single mom. Think I am starting to realize my addiction issues. Genes played a role but I need to find peace and closure in my past. Left a detailed message for a therapist yesterday but did't hear back. Guess I will start searching for another. I really numbed myself the last few years! The emotions are overwhelming. I just keep reminding myself of my daughter and how I cannot put her thru the pain I endured. Thank you to all who have been supportive! This is no picnic in the park but there is light at the end. I do believe that!

you are doing great hang in there, I think the worst of the w/d is over .give it a few more days to kick jn ,I got the all the vitamins and I think there helping, I also found out there are to na meetings a week here close to me, that  will help me I did a lot of na meetings a while ago but they were 40 mjles away. hang in there .your life is gonna change for the better soon.

Hey ladies, congrats on the clean time. Lifeback, I think your a great mother, going through this hell for you and her to make a better life!!! Just keep your eyes on the prize and like they said, breath deep. You know the Lord has his eyes on you. I believe the Lord is the one that's pulls us through this with the help of everyone on this forum.

Climbing I hope your stomach is better today. I know it was about 2 weeks before I got to eating right. Want you to know its people like you that is hugging the toilet and will reach out to help others is what makes this forum work. I pray it all comes back to you a hundred times over. God Bless you

M, Stay strong girl! We can DO this!!! you have been so helpful to me over the last few days. Maybe getting it out of your system and venting was a good thing?? Sorry about the therapist but if you need to talk ANYTIME I will be here!! emotional today too,very shaky (as I type this) and tummy is still icky but hell girl, from yesterday this is a huge improvement. Please realize it too!!! Please stay strong M, thinking of you!!!
