Day 5 and doing great!

Hey everyone just wanted to let ya know how I am doing. I got out for a little bit last night my hubby and I went to the mall, and the Best Buy, wasn't really feeling like it (head cold) but thought getting out would do me some good so I went. The RLS got me last nite had a hard time falling asleep but I can honestly say when I did get up this morning I didn't feel as bad as I have before I mean I could see a difference even from yesterday! WOW I hope maybe this is a sign that I am turning a corner to better and better days to come!!!! I guess my big question is where do I go from here do I find an NA meetimg or could I have this as my support system? (This I would prefer) lots of luv to all!!!

Congrats on Day 5....that is great!  Physically, it should be all down hill from here.  It is good you got out.  It  helps a lot.  I think taking walks helped me.

Way to go Missy!  I am using this forum as my NA.  Just being here helps me to stay clean.  I don't want to live the life of an addict anymore.  I am feeling much better today too.  I might not sleep well tonight though because I am not going to take a muscle relaxer tonight.  That has been really helping with my RLS but I can't trade one addiction for another.  Keep up the good work hun.

congrats on day 5 and i'm glad to hear your starting to feel a bit better. it's good to hear you want to find a support group because that is very important. this forum is my N/A and a great place to be for help and to remain clean. i hope you stick around and checking out a N/A meeting is a great idea. good luck.

Congrats on day 5 !  Day 5 is usually the turning point and you should start to feel better everyday. But don't be surprised if you have a couple of bad days thrown in. Your addict brain may try a few more surprize sick days to get you to cave in. The addict brain is dieing and fighting for survival. Don't let it win.
This forum is a great support system, but you may want to try a N/A meeting. Google Narcotics aynonomous (sp?) and you'll be able to find meetings in your area. You can do both,  N/A and this forum.
Keep posting, its sounds like your doing great.

Hey Congrat's !   You should start to feel a little better every day now.  As far as N/A  the more support the better.  Hang in there.  You are doing so great.  Hugs  Mary
