The best thing I can say at this point is that it will get better as the days go by. You're most definitely through the worst. You'll begin to feel better...then the mental side comes along. What plans have you made for aftercare? AA? NA? Group Therapy? Therapist? The withdrawal is actually the easy part of this addiction. The mental stuff is the hard part.

not having contact with people seems to be the norm when withdrawing but your social side will return sometimes we have to force ourselves to reach out and socialize but everyday you will find it easier to do that.congratulations on a week clean keep up the good fight and be proud!

Good morning and congrats on a week clean. Hang in there and know that you will be feeling so much better soon and you can hold your head high for this accomplishment. It's so hard at first, but worth the fight. When i first got clean, i didn't have much contact with people either at first, i was so pissed off and angry and sick lol. it is a process, but there is so much good waiting for us when we are clean. Stay strong, we are here for you:)
