I think those are called rebound headaches. At least that's what I had. Your body is used to a steady flow of meds. When that stops, then the headaches can start. Shouldn't last too long.

Its crazy because I never used to clench them until I started taking them! It has to be that givin me the headache, cause I do it without realizing it! It has to be another lovely w/d symptom!
Don't be lonely count some sheep with us! It could be real fun! Haha! If I can't sleep I will be back shortly! lol!

Wow, I never thought about it but I did start the teeth clenching thing when I started taking pills! I never associated the two things! I still do it sometimes and I wonder if it is still part of the withdrawal process? Weird cause I haven't  heard anyone else mention it but you! I guess it makes sense though! See, I am still learning things!

Hope you ladies both get some sleep! Don't worry about me, I will just be lonely without you guys!! LOL

Good luck with the sleep.  I really hope you get some.  I haven't for over 24 hours now so I hope i get some too.  Trying not to worry about it though.

Thank you so much, I do find that I clench my teeth a lot especially when I started taking the pills, hopefully it will calm down now that I am not taking them! I have no motivation to shower just yet, I am going to hopefully get some sleep which I know can be a huggge hit or miss. Thanks Sonrissa! Appreciate it tons! :)

I had the same issue with headaches! Actually mine were, and still are, from clenching my teeth so hard at night while I sleep! I guess it's stress! Anyway, I digress, I tried the icepack but it was way to cold, so I tried a cool washcloth on the back of my neck and that did help! Also, I know this sounds weird but washing my hair helped! LOL really! I would stand in the shower and lather up my hair and just massage my head really hard! I did this for several minutes and nearly fell asleep! But it really did seem to help! Take care!! Hope it gets better!

Try to do some breathing exercises they help to oxygenated the blood which calms down headaches. So take deep breaths through your nose and using your diaphragm. Hold the breathe for about 30 seconds and exhale through your mouth. Repeat several time and this should help. Another way is to put an icepack on the back of your neck  (at the base of your head) and leave it there for 20 minutes. Both of these techniques worked for me during my w/d. Keep it up your doing great and the headaches will pass. God Bless---Rick
