Does Tramadol actually work?

The Doc gave me a Tramadol script last week and im curious about anyones opinions on it. Could I use it to take 1 or 2 less norco's a day? Any Advice? I mean om already on the Fentanyl Patch and tons of norco, but was curious if anyones had luck with tramadol....Thanks

as for taking care of the pain...I don't get much relief from it (back pain)...I take 2 50mg 2x day..I don't know why I don't just toss them out..don't get a buzz.  I've decided that I'm likely going to live with back pain the rest of my life.

yep! I just mixed the two and I'm sure that is why I got sick this week..had headaches from He77!!!!!!!
At least that did one thing for me...not going to do anymore vikes. One addiction is plenty.ugh.

Don't get started on Tramadol, that's my advise to you.  The withdrawals are pure HELL.  Worse than most.  You really should not need that, on top of everything else you are taking anyways.  And mixing hydrocodone with Tramadol can make you sick feeling and throw up, depending on the person.  I have read once not to mix the two.  But any Tramadol addict like myself would give you the same advise.  Good luck.

If you don't need it, my recommendation would be to not ever take it.
I would stay on the stuff you are already taking and just taper that if you are trying to get off of it.
It's an entirely different animal to get off of.

its highly addictive wd is really bad when you stop taking it .I would not add in another problematic drug
