I am posting this in hopes to help anyone who is trying to fix their addiction by self medicating.I know firsthand how withdrawal can be, as I have experienced it many times.I would have done anything to avoid it, just like allot of you.
I decided enough was enough, and got professional help.It has been over a year since then, and it was the best decision I ever made for me and family.Opiate addiction is so different than anything I ever faced, and I know how it feels to not want people to know, to think you can do it alone, and to just not want to suffer withdrawals. My plea is for anyone in this situation to get professional help, from a place who is educated in assisting opiate addicts, not someone who is out to make quick money. There are allot of resources out there to help, you just have to be willing and no longer live in fear.If you are serious about quitting once and for all, you can do it.It just takes time and strength.I never imagined my life the way it is today, but I am so grateful I made that call to get help.
