HoldenCaulflower: I started pretty much the same exercise routine coming off suboxone last year. Walk half mile, joj half mile, walk, jog. Some days just walk. Other days, jog until I couldnt breath anymore and I would go so hard I would almost throw up.. lol. It helped SOO much. Each week I would push it a little harder. Eventually a few months into sub w/drawal I began cardio kickboxing which is a FANTASTIC total body workout. Cardio and strength training at the same time. I would leave there feeling so beat up, but in a great way. Exercise really really really helps me through w/drawal including the depression part. Keep it up.
Yeah I heard, it's crazy how much of a recluse he became, but a damn fine author. First Vonnegut and now Salinger, those are my two all time favorite authors, but they both lived long, happy lives. So... Se La Vie.
I think I will work in some upper body stuff next time. I've always wanted to work out and it's just another reason not to do drugs so why not.
Clever handle, you know Salinger died today? Yes mix cardio up with lifting weights. I had not touched a weight really since high school football until I went to Iraq last year and picked it back up. I love it, it's a great stress reliever.
