Forced withdrawal

I've recently had my script filled & only took my regular doses of oxycodone 10mg for 10 days, then discovered that a family member found the hiding spot for them & all but wiped me out of a month's supply! So, I'm left with just enough for a week, but if I cut that in half it gets me closer to the end of the month when I can get a refill. So far, this has been a living hell & I HAVE to do this alone otherwise it draws attention to the person in my family that did this to me. How should I handle this & get through with the least amount of pain & discomfort. Please help!

Maybe it is time to draw attention to this family member as they obviously have a problem.  This addiction is deadly.

You could try putting yourself on a very drastic taper so you have at least a little ammount everyday...you would still go threw some extent of withdrawl tho, maybe not the full fledged thing but pretty sever im guessing. Im really sorry to tell you this because it seems like you are not abusing your meds, legit need them, and are going threw this all because of said family member. As harsh as this might sound, you should be your main concern...not weather you are going to draw attention to the one who stole from you. I have done this MANY MANY times. No matter how much they love you and dont like seeing you in pain, they are sick with an addiction and will keep stealing from you regardless of how sick it makes you. Maybe having it out in the open will force them to be accountable for their actions and others can help make sure this dosent happen to you again.

I totally know where you are coming fro n except I'm my own family member!  I have 10 days tell I can refill took 2 of my last 3 and 1/2 pills this morning no one has any to buy and I am freaking out! I have been doing good I kept telling myself but I was lying to myself I don't no what to do either get ready for withdrawls I guess
