Getting drowsy

Hello, I started my taper plan off 50mgs of methadone , I dropped 5mgs last Thursday  and am scheduled to drop 5 more on Thursday of this week. Iam feeling good only minor agitation except for some major drowsiness any ideas on why this is happening?

Thanks for your time, yes I have started the 3in1two days ago I started taking vitamins about a month ago and I am adding on others as I can afford them. I will start the protein drinks Friday

Hi....what your feeling is the withdrawals and is very tyiply common going by 5mg drops gets to be a bit much in the lower doses have you started on the 3 in 1 calcium/magnesum/zinc  yet?? it cheep at walmart 250 for 6 bucks start taking 4 with breakfast and 4 with dinner this will help cut down on the withdrawals you feel  it takes about 3 days for it to work there is no completely comfortable way of doing this but you can manage it  let your body be the final judge in when to drop doses if your in withdrawal dont drop until it passes keep posting for support we all want to see you beet the ''liquid handcuffs''
