Getting off Xanux
I have a friend that is very much hooked on Xanux. She wants to get off of it very badly. We live in Upland California I am wonding if anyone knows any places there where she might get help. I have also heard of some new kind of pill that might help her with her addictionion. I do not know the name of it. All I know is that it is very expensive.

The think the "pill" you are speaking of is Suboxone. It is NOT to be used to withdraw from Xanax. I don't know any places specifically you can go and have to suggest that she work with her prescribing doctor as he/she has her history. She is going to need to taper off of the medication and needs to do so under a doctor's care.
