Many suffer and never "come out of the closet"
After accepting my addiction and going to mtgs, seeing how others had accepted theirs, I knew I was not alone,.  The support from being around folks who understand is so important to recovery and mtgs are free.
Chemical dependency is common, alcohol, drugs, cigs..lots are addicted to sumpin.  It is a disease I believe and nuttin to be ashamed of unless u refuse to get help.  Not everyone gets qmentally addicted like we do and for some reason, chemically we r prone to it.  It is sumpin we gotta deal with and we can do this if we know what we need to do

Hundreds of thousands? There are MILLIONS, here in the UK alone!

Who knows how many more million are happily taking their pills today without any conception of what the future might have in store.

There will be thousands just this morning who have been to their family doctor to see about their bad knee or bad back, and have come away with their co-codamol script.

Many will be lucky and not develop a problem, but those of us on the list know.......
