He was in the infirmary for 4 days only gave him anti seizure meds. no lithium because his blood pleasure was to low. He is in the regular part now, he is doing ok, but looks bad and is not eat much, other inmates have been helping him lately, I am going to have him fill a grievance report form i got from methadone.orgThis is a maximum security prison, they can not have anything , the kid is freezing, he has to buy a tee shirt and other clothing through a canteen which hopefully he will finally be able to access today
Contact the jail and talk to them about it. When I went to jail, my Mom brought my meds to the jail and I had them the next morning.
Even where he is they have a medical area. You can call the jail and talk to them. Poe whoever answers. Tell them what he has been taking. And ask them to watch him. Monitor him. They have an obligation to take care of him in jail too. I did this before when I was concerned after a visit. I actually got a call back and they were very good. It was county jail. Next time I visited he looked much better.
So yes advocate for him. See if the sheriffs department jail website has any info about medical care. Call them. The jail may not be aware even though the court is.
hey don't do it at this jail, funny thing is it is not 2 far from the methadone clinic, and yes he was on 6mths probation, called a quaff? he didn't even have 2 report. for a minor incident again invoking traffic ticket.they r holding him until next court date. God forbid something happen to him. I will tip
I see your in MA. I dont know much about the jails over there but here in CA, if your on meds like that they will do a special medical transport to the county jail. Not for methadone but for the Gaba. Also, if its for a traffic violation he should just be sited and released unless its like a 2nd or 3rd DUI.
Hope it all works out for you and your son.
