To the struggling cokehead

To anyone out there struggling with addiction right now, take comfort in this forum and realize that you are not alone in this. Read as many posts as it takes until you find something that hits you deep enough to help you find the courage to make it through another day, hour, minute etc. You are facing the biggest challenge you will ever face and it can be done. You will not feel this way forever.

To the cokeheads: I think there may be more of you out there than are actually posting. whatever the case may be, i do know that there are a few of us lingering and struggling together in this battle, and it is a battle. I am posting today to tell you that how ever bad it may seem and no matter how much you may want to give in to those cravings, fight it. One day at a time does not work for most of us when it comes to the beast of a coke craving. For me, i counted the seconds for well over a month. I was one of the saddest most hopeless cases anyone can imagine. Just ask our good friend of the forum, Gizzy. I scared the man for a while. Tomorrow, I will have four months clean. It gets better. Keep fighting, support eachother and have faith in the fact that you only need to get through this one minute at a time. Anyone can do anything for 60 seconds. Good luck to all of you.

Wow!!! Congratulations on 4 months.   Great job and thanks for posting --- you really do give others a lot of hope and encouragement.  I don't know what those of us who still struggle would do without you guys who have been through this and still come on and post the message of hope.  All the best.
