Myles...yes, that is a good amount of pills...but definitely not the worst I have heard...actually you are quie average by the Forum's standards...hahaha...I always got a kick out of thinking I was a average addict...humor sometimes helps...sometimes it's all you have left...

Above all...you will be OK!!

In order to get the attention you need...try posting this to a new thread.  There is a green button on the Forum Page Screen entitled, Post A Question...hit that and let us know your story.  Sometimes people get lost in the shuffle if they don't start their own story.  It should help getting the responses you need.

Keep fighting brother...toward the end...I was at that amount, and it does suck...but it is only temporary.  My new lease on life is forever...if I choose it to be so.  But it is MY choice...not the pills.

Yep...dealers are like strip clubs.  You think they care...you think there is some sort of relationship...but it is just as fake as the life of being high....and they take your money, with a smile, one song/pill at a time.

It's funny what we addicts will spend our money on.  I am not a gambler...and do not get the intrigue with placing hard earned money on the table with the possibility of no return.  I am not into strip clubs...wasting money on something I am not willing to pay for in the end.  But pills...f*** it...give me 100...here's half a grand!!  Just amazing sometimes how the addicts brain works.  I guess that's why AA/NA calls it, "insanity"!

Good for you...it gets better and better and better!!!

he--  we sure know what you mean by that.  It's because it's toxic I think.  Have you tried soaking in a pretty hot bath for 20 mins. at a time.  That will really help with your leg aches.  Well, it did mine.  If you have epsom salts or something to put in, it helps even more. You might be amazed how much it does help for sleep.  My man wouldn't have taken a bath to save his life, and he was hurting real bad so I told him go get in the tub, and it was hard to get him out after that.  He slept good too.  That was about day 6 or so into w/d's.  Not much gonna help you sleep for long periods except time.  You're just at day 2 right?  So if you go a few more days, sleep will come soon.  Hang in there!

Melatonin is another vitamin that promotes sleep I have a list of the vitamins I took that helped it cost right at 100 bucks for all of them but was well worth it in the long run because taking vitamins and drinking alot of Gatorade or powerade(the electrolytes in these are a must have imo during detox)will speed up the detox process because it speeds up the process of getting all the toxins out of your body send me a MSG if u would lime to know my list of vitamins that helped me ALOT.
Good Luck and Stay Strong.

Try some benadryl, its an otc allergy med that will help with sleep. The sleep was a huge one for me and the benadryl was the only thing that worked, none of that natural stuff worked for me. Pop like 3 or 4, it wont hurt ya and you will at least get a good nights sleep. Sometimes that can make all the difference. Best of luck to you...

Valarian root may he'll with the anger cause my guess would be anger is coming from the anxiety and valarian root works the same way a benzo(Xanax and Valium type meds) just not as strong it helped my anxiety because ibwasnt able to get any benzos to take for a few days if u can get some benzos they will help alot just don't get alot and over do it and only take them forb3 or 4 days. Look up the Thomas recipe it helps out ALOT with opiate withdrawals
Good Luck again

Aint it great to be at that place?  I still take bunches of vitamins, I truly believe they are helping my brain to heal..plus, I can feel them too...very strange, after quitting pills didnt think any vitamin I would be able to actually feel.  When I take my stresstab (b-12) in the morning I feel it giving me energy, maybe its all in my head who knows?  But I really remember the first week and that one day that I actually believed I was gonna make it through, still not hungry, but was getting there.  :)  You are doing really great!  Just wait.  It does get much much better!!

I still use the L-T and (2) b6 tabs per morning.  It really does help.  This morning is the first in my 6 day ride that I didn't think I needed it, but took it anyway.  Really helps in the AM.

something I learned of yesterday, this may be listed under the Thomas Recipe-is the L-Theanine, Japanese version, supposedly helps HEAPS for the anxiety/stress of WD's.  Worth a try maybe...keep posting, and good luck to you :)

Please just accept what your going through.  You seem to be fighting it...which is your mind tricking you into thinking you need more pills...which you don't.  Here are some pointers...

Hydration - drink water/Gatorade until you can't...then drink some more.  The clearer your pee, the better.
Hylands Restful Legs - otc natural drug that will help tremendously with restless legs
Protein Shakes/Vitamins - you MUST put good stuff in your body to fight off all the bad stuff.
Exercise - doesn't sound possible, I know, but just a 15 minute walk helps a lot regarding relaxation, releasing of natural endorphins and ultimately sleep.
Lack of Sleep - just something your gonna have to deal with.  Sometimes otc stuff helps, sometimes not.  Everything above will help you sleep well, sooner.

Above all, FIGHT LIKE HELL AND STICK IT OUT.  I turned detox into a 4 month roller coaster ride...stretching it out by messing around with relapses.  I lost everything in the process.  You can do this...and how you will feel on the other end is simply, AMAZING.

Keep posting...

Wantsum, bottom line we're looking for a quick way to get over something we abused.  Once you come out of the fog, which I have at this point.  You'll feel relived and a sucess.  We use to take a pill to get to sleep, calm down, everything.  If your seriuos about quitting and you sound a lot like I was, you are.

I've been taking the perc an vic sometimes oc for well say 5yrs now I lost count. I've taken up to 3 perc 30's an a number of perc 5's in a day for up to a month straight at times. I would gobble vic 5's and 10's like candy go through 50 in two days no prob. Does that help with the dosage I have been on ? If so any advice to stop? It is so much easier to just go and get sum meds and go to sleep. O and any advice to help with the anger I feel when I have none. I want to put my fist through a wall at times...
